El 21 de febrero de 2024, GO BILINGUAL tuvo el honor de participar como agencia de traducciones en el Intercambio Global de Estrategias Creativas de Promoción, organizado por Creative Action Institute. Este evento reunió a organizaciones de diversos continentes que han implementado prácticas creativas de advocacy durante 2023, todas enfocadas en el cambio climático y la justicia ambiental. Los participantes representaron a países como Camerún, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras y Perú.
Creative Action Institute: Historia y Objetivos
Creative Action Institute es una organización sin fines de lucro que cataliza soluciones impulsadas por la comunidad para avanzar en la igualdad de género y la justicia climática a nivel global. Fundada con la misión de empoderar a líderes creativos y construir redes de apoyo, la organización ofrece entrenamientos experienciales, eventos y asesorías para desarrollar líderes creativos y apoyar la defensa de base en todo el mundo1.
Principales objetivos:
- Promover la igualdad de género: A través de programas educativos y de capacitación, buscan eliminar las barreras de género y empoderar a mujeres y niñas.
- Justicia climática: Implementan soluciones locales para la resiliencia climática y fomentan la educación ambiental.
- Desarrollo de líderes creativos: Capacitan a individuos y organizaciones para que utilicen el arte y la creatividad como herramientas de cambio social.

Creative Action Institute:
- Liderazgo Ambiental Creativo en Pisac, Perú: Lanzamiento de una nueva cohorte de líderes ambientales creativos que trabajan en soluciones locales para la resiliencia climática1.
- Educación de Niñas y Cambio Climático en Tanzania: Un cortometraje que destaca cómo el cambio climático afecta la educación de las niñas y las iniciativas para abordar estos desafíos1.
EcoLogic Development Fund:
- Restauración y Conservación de Bosques en Guatemala: Trabajan con comunidades indígenas para restaurar y conservar bosques, promoviendo la biodiversidad y la resiliencia climática2.
- Monitoreo Comunitario de Aves en La Chinantla, México: Iniciativa que involucra a las comunidades locales en la conservación de aves y la protección de sus hábitats2.
Semillas del Océano:
- Programas de Educación y Conservación: Implementan programas de educación, ciencia y acción comunitaria para fomentar la conservación y el uso sostenible de los océanos y la vida marina en Guatemala.
- Campaña de Buenas Prácticas de Pesca: Participan en iniciativas regionales para promover prácticas de pesca sostenible y la conservación de la biodiversidad costera.
Este intercambio global no solo permitió compartir experiencias y aprendizajes, sino que también fortaleció las redes de colaboración entre organizaciones comprometidas con la justicia ambiental y el cambio climático. GO BILINGUAL se enorgullece de haber contribuido a este evento mediante la prestación de servicios de interpretación simultánea entre inglés y español, facilitando la comunicación y el entendimiento entre los participantes.
GO BILINGUAL Participates in the Global Exchange of Creative Promotion Strategies
On February 21, 2024, GO BILINGUAL had the honor of participating as a translation agency in the Global Exchange of Creative Promotion Strategies, organized by the Creative Action Institute. This event brought together organizations from various continents that have implemented creative advocacy practices during 2023, all focused on climate change and environmental justice. Participants represented countries such as Cameroon, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, and Peru.
